Here at Children’s opportunity Center our youth mentors develop a personal and positive rapport with a child. Our mentors work with youth to establish goals and assist them with creating life action plans. We also play the role of cheerleader, coach, and advocate for our children; we also provide them with other community resources.
One-On-One (Shadowing Program)
Our One-On-One care provides constant observation of and interaction with the child by a designated staff member/professional to ensure the child’s safety. One-On-One care can be utilized when a youth needs emergency placement due to behavioral or medical crisis, or if the safety of others is at risk.
